Working with college students
The dynamics of creating a real-world college class is invaluable. I have had the privilege of working with the University of Michigan Design students in two projects that have been very impacting for both the students and the community members they have engaged in.
As a volunteer for MISSION and Camp Take Notice, I have been able to use my knowledge of real-world projects to connect with two professors at UMich.
Adjunct Instructor for the College for Creative Studies, Detroit, MI
I enjoyed a year as an adjunct instructor with CCS. I taught DAE 315 “Teaching Elementary Art” and also DAE 517 “Supervisor for Field Placements” supervising and mentoring student teachers during their student teaching at public schools.
