Cooperative learning, which often occurs in project-based learning environments, reduces stress-levels through group problem-solving, engages students in directed conversation, and develops unity within the classroom (Dusing, Houck, Pate-Clevenge, Zuber, 2008).
The student work is broken into high school and jr. high school categories. Most projects were created from a real-world experience, or simulated real-world experience. Although I believe that these projects accelerate learning I also teach the foundations of drawing, painting and rendering.
